This was God speaking to Moses at the time he was giving him specifications on setting up the Tabernacle after the salvation of the children of Israel from Egypt. In the preceding verse, he had instructed Moses to take Aaron and his sons out from among the children of Israel that they may minister unto Him in the priest’s office.
Today we as Christians have been made kings and priests unto our God (Rev 1.6a) and in the light of the theme scripture, we ought to ensure that we dress first for glory and then for beauty (in that order) every day.
The focus of our outward appearance as ministers of the gospel as well as Apostles in the market place should first be to bring glory to God not only by our physical or bodily attires but importantly, by our soul attires which refers to our countenance and attitude.
Put on the garment of the fruits of the spirit which is accessorized by Love, Joy, Peace, and Faith amongst others. This garment will show forth the glory of God by displaying your beauty as the Light of the world.
Galatians 5 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
